Ink-Jet system for non-contact single dot
marking applications (DOD)
The
REA-JET EDS is a cost
effective, high performance, one dot ink
jet marking system designed to mark on a
wide range of materials found in the
modern manufacturing environment.
Capable of marking at high speeds and
designed for use in the electronic
industry as well as in harsh industrial
environments such as dust, air humidity,
vibration, large variations in
temperature and aggressive substances.
The patented
REA-JET EDS print
head technology guarantees a high level
of system availability and ease of use
with little maintenance required.
The EDS processes a wide range of inks
and colours, suitable for marking on a
wide range of both "porous" and "non-porous"
materials.
Designed for ease of integration into
the manufacturing process environment
the
REA-JET EDS can be easily
configured to work with PLC's or a
Visual Inspection System.
The system can be used for a wide area
of applications such as marking of
mounting positions, production errors on
products, applying soldering agent or
marking of cutting lines. The EDS system
allows to precisely apply liquids on a
large variety of surfaces. Even mounted
at linear motion devices and moved at a
high speed does not create a problem for
the system. Any mounting positions are
possible. Due to small dimensions the
EDS print head can be mounted in
difficult to reach places also. Marking
can take place from above, upside down
and sidewise position.
The
REA-JET EDS print head
processes several inks such as
water-based inks, solvent based inks,
pigmented inks which make an excellent
contrast on even difficult to mark
substrates as well as curable naphta
based inks for marking applications in
the tire industry.
Easy maintenance and support are
essential components of an industrial
device. The
REA-JET EDS
components are rugged and modular.
Sturdy connectors, for both electrical
and fluidic connections are standard
with the system. In the unlikely event
that simple maintenance routines carried
out by the operator do not resolve any
system performance issues, a simple
component replacement can be carried out
by the operator with the minimum impact
to the production cycle.
